I met Anniina KORTE at Aalto University and we immediately clicked.  She is a print designer obsessed with drawing by hand, a tradition that we rarely see nowadays. We both like the idea of imperfections, those "errors" that make our pieces truly human.

 

Anniina's characters are dark and melancholic but something about them turn into cheerfulness the closer you look.

NOIR ECHO is the fruit merging her drawings and my designs. Our unique collaboration brings Anniina's striking, imaginative artwork and my design skills to create unusual pieces.

NOIR ECHO is a parallel world where both of us enjoy and share our openness to the natural world.
